Unique per weapon sound replacement.

I've been able to unpack the game's .bos files, editor is working and I've got a nice collection of weapon sound effects ready. Question; is it possible to create new sound references for each weapon (as opposed to the blanket heavy/light smg etc) that can be imported into the editor? If yes, how would I go about doing this?

Tiles and sprites from Polish industry.

Hi everyone, i'm wrote from Polish land, my name is Robert.
(special thanks to Jarekfall and sorry everybody to my terrible english).
I wanted to give tiles The Zuk model, was produced in the Poland after 1945 year.
Model destroyed and rusty (exactly like the Polish national industry after 1989 year).

In this The Zuk model, 4-view, camera settings in C-4d 45 and -30 degree, I added the minimum shadow (5 pixel), in PS.
Next model, soon.

Some guy on reddit told me.
Is there a little, simple patch or add-on to fix the burst bug? I want to report this on our Fallout site, the burst bug used to be one hell of a annoyance.

How could it possibly do a change to the editor so you can go more further with the height, for example max limit of height in the game is 256 and the minimum is 0 when you scroll the mouse.
Could I do the height limit over 256? Or it's just a pipe dream? I thought about editing some files who are in strong bonds with the editor.

I have played FOT a long time ago. I made few single maps (just for fun and for me, but with some bugs) years ago and I have played FOT again last week. I finished the campaign using a mutant squad (the main character, 2 supermutants and 3 ghouls). I would like to make something different.

FreeFT is an open-source isometric, multiplayer action game engine which uses Fallout Tactics assets (original copy is required if you want to run the demo). This is still work in progress, some major features are missing (scripting, dialogues, game UI, AI) but also a lot of stuff has been done. You can check out the videos on vimeo, or you can download the executables from sourceforge and run it yourself.

I was writing this for the last few months. Development was done under Linux...

Calculator's Revenge (custom map)

I have created a map where the Calculator fights the Brotherhood of Steel to get the nuke and prevent them getting into the Vault 0.

The gameplay is quite simple because I don't have a lot of experience modding fallout tactics or other games, but I'm making a mission just for fun.

It's recomended to play it in HARD mode, because it's tested in that difficulty. It doesn't require high skillls to beat the mission, but you cant charge against the BoS. THe mission is completed after killing...

There's a specific thing I want to ask: bos.cfg has this line {game.opponentLevelOffset} = {0}. What does it do? Anyone here know or mess around with it before?

I think it's enemies' level variable, so I change it to 2 just to check if there's any change. Thing is, Redux Hard combat is very hard, but I am not sure if it's a Redux thing, or that variable. Equilibrium is merely hard, so the effect is also unknown.

I asked around, and Endocore respond:

Has anyone made a list of map mods so people can see what's out there?

The DL section here is mostly modder resources. I'm wanting to get added scenarios and encounters to extend the vanilla game. All I've seen so far is modders resources, complete story and equipment overhauls, and the rare map/encounter.

I like the vanilla game. I just want more of it. The only item I've ever wanted new in the game was a 50cal sniper rifle to out range those mutants with M2's. Otherwise I just want...

NPC Highwayman sprite.

Character sprite same as Highwayman, but it uses for NPC only.



It have Death, Stand and Run/Walk animations.
Make critter with “Unique other” race type, use this sprite and you got NPC car. You can use it for trigger scenes in game.

Any way to redefine hotkeys in Tactics?

I'm playing in windowed mode, and the screen doesn't scroll when my mouse goes to the borders. Is there any way to change the hotkeys so i can scroll the screen with WASD?

Also, what is the BEST mod out there right now for Tactics? :)
